Relational
Relational
We are relational beings, not healing or thriving in isolation. My experience living in Japan and training in forest bathing is infused into my therapy and my being. I invite you to connect with your senses, your body, and the present moment. I invite both sides of the brain into the room. I invite your past and future into the moment. We travel at a speed attuned to your nature while grounding into sensory awareness. Through presence and connection, we can explore where you are and where you're off track. I use tools like somatic therapy, experiential therapy, archetypes and metaphor, and guided mindfulness to explore your relationship to Self, your surroundings, to healing and purpose, and to your loved ones.
Reverent

I have deep respect, awe, and admiration for humans soaking up the living of this life. I honor all parts of your inner being: the rigid rock, the melancholy lake, the wild wind, and the raging rapids. Let's bring your nature into harmony with itself. Through nervous system attunement, self-awareness, and pacing, we regard the body, mind, and spirit as all important messengers.
Real
Real
Here we are; now we are. Life and nature are always changing, and we can move through joy and pain in the course of a day. We practice what we need to and have some laughs and love along the way. "You feel grounded in the Earth." and "I can tell you anything." is feedback I receive often. I'm energetic for brave exploration of the rocky path of being human. My experience living on several continents plus coming to counseling as a second career, I hold many identities and cultures with an open heart, humor, creativity, and steadiness.
